This summer, Videotage is organizing a workshop for young people called ‘Cattle Depot 101 – Mapping the City’ from 20th to 28th of July.
In this workshop,we will rediscover the forgotten and the fading objects, events, people or places in Kowloon City. Young people will learn to use an interesting mapping methodology to visualize the relationship of those collected data. Instead of a usually ‘dead’ map, living maps will be produced to document the stories and history of the District and reflect the mobility of it. After the workshop, Videotage will produce a brochure and hold a mini exhibition describing the Cattle Depot Artist Village and the Kowloon City District based on the participants’ ideas and input.
All teenagers are welcome to participate in this creative workshop. Details are as follows:

Participants: teenagers aged between 12-24
Quota: 25 people/ session
Fee: FREE OF CHARGE (excluding transportation fee)

*Participants are only required to join 1 session and the workshop will be conducted in Cantonese.
