Artists:

Paul Yip:
Back from Montreal Paul is a sound artist and experimental musician. He collaborates with artists from various disciplines in projects such as theatre/dance music, sound installation, soundtrack, DJing and organizing music events. Taking part in bands like Milkteeth, The Sinister Left, Tree Phoning, PAL PAL…etc. He performs with acoustic/electronic instruments not limiting to vintage synth, sampler and effects. His mission with [Feel Music Experimental Lab] is to promote and spread sound art, experimental and improvised music to wide open Hong Kong’s music scene, build up unique music style and find new music directions and ideas. Being as a music consultant he has been picking and mixing the best tunes for prestigious restaurants and fashion stores including Lane Crawford.

Joe Lung : Music Producer / Drummer / DJ / VJ
Joe Lung found his calling when his music career began in 1999, he began as a drummer and start being DJ a few years later.  He resided in Beijing for a year in 2000 playing the local circuit with mainland rocker Cao Bin and has tour with him around Beijing for three months.   Joe Lung’s former projects include “SpaceMonkeys”,“Centaur”, “Sway Dog”,”Exodus” and “In Our Veins”, which earned him exposure at the Hong Kong International Trade and Exhibition Centre, the Queen Elizabeth Stadium ,the Hong Kong World Trade Centre and on commercial radio. He formed the“McCadden PLace Collective”in 2007, a groovy funky jazz group with a all star lineup, which all the guitarists and bassist are from the “Musicians Institute College of Contemporary Music”at Los Angeles. He also joined the project of Dominic Chow(周啟生) in 2008. He also performed at the “World Music Festival” in China and “Hong Kong International Jazz Festival” in 2011.  He performed in the most famous music festival, hotels and bars in both Hong Kong, Macau and Tai Wan.

Rex:
Rex has been DJing in London and Hong Kong, and is a writer for the online dance music magazine www.datatransmission.co.uk. With a Master’s degree in Cultural Studies from Goldsmiths, University of London, he has a passion for exploring both the theoretical and practical sides of DJing. As a music consultant he had been DJing at Clockenflap as Stattus Soundsystem team recently.

Hilda Chan:
Hilda Chan Hiu-Kwan (b. 1983, Hong Kong) studied and lived in the UKand USA. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film / Animation/ Video from Rhode Island School of Design. She explores different ways of storytelling through a variety of disciplines and mediums such as video, painting, collage and photography. Her works cross the boundaries between documentary, fiction and drama. Her short film “Desquamate” was selected for the Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIFF) 2007. She designed visuals for the play “Lear’s Daughter” commissioned by Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation in 2008. Her live video projection was shown in “The Indie Ones Concert” (2010). She produces artist interviews, event documentation and trailers for local art galleries and collectives such as Videotage and Mischmasch Gallery. Hilda is also a professional art administrator. Her most recent projects include the Art Guides mobile application produced by Vermillion Art Collections.

Enrica Ho
Enrica Ho (b. 1983, Hong Kong) graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2004 with BSc (Hons) Construction Economics and Management, after which she started participating in art and design activities. In 2008, she was invited by The Hong Kong Youth Federation of Youth Groups to design products for “You Are What You Wear” youth design project, which were sold in the Hong Kong Book Fair 2008. Enrica will soon graduate from BA (Hons) in Creative Media at the City University of Hong Kong. In Spring 2010, an overseas exchange program enabled her to study photography, video, new media and sound art at The University of Illinois, Chicago. She is ecstatic over the transformation and fusion, and hopes to combine sciences and arts; sense and sensibility; analog and digital forms in her artworks. She believes that art at the first level is for self-expression, second level for connecting with the viewers, and third level with society. http://www.enricaho.com/
