Videotage
Videotage is a leading non-profit organisation in facilitating, promoting and presenting new media art in Hong Kong. Since 1986, Videotage has developed itself from an umbrella for media artists to a media art and culture network for cross-disciplinary cultural productions and international exchange of ideas and knowledge.26 May, 2011 (Thu)29 May, 2011 (Sun)

Artists: Henry Chu, Justin Wong, Hamlet Lin, Eva Schindling, João Vasco Paiva, Marco de Mutiis, Michelle Ngai, and over one hundred overseas and local artists.
Apart from the new media art works at stand X17, also featured are selected items from VMAC collection – local video art from the 80s and 90s, artist interviews and documents that reflect Hong Kong’s media art development, as well as archival materials contributed by more than ten international collaborators such as ZKM, Netherlands Media Art Institute, V2_, and ARS Electronica through Shanghai eArts Festival. Local art galleries, spaces, and institutes also kindly contribute their documents and publications to our exhibition, including art.ware, City Contemporary Dance Company, City University of Hong Kong School of Creative Media, Hanart TZ Gallery, Hong Kong Arts Development Council, HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity, Hong Kong Independent Short Film & Video Awards, Microwave International New Media Arts Festival, orleanlaiproject, Osage Gallery, Para / Site art space, Writing Machine Collective, and Zuni Icosahedron.
