This workshop features a comprehensive, yet easy-to-learn tool for building mobile, ubiquitous application. Do you ever think of building your own mobile application with few lines of code? In this workshop, you will learn how to adopt a wide range of technology for mobile devices, which could be location-aware, multimedia and sensors-based. At the end of this 2 day intensive workshop, the results will be beyond your imagination and your creative works will be presented in public spaces!

About the Workshop Instructor
William Wong is a new media architect and creative coder, with interests in interactive installations and tangible user interfaces. He had been working as lead engineer in yU+co.[lab] for years, and managed commercial projects for digital galleries, museums, show suites etc. He was later joined Applied Laboratory for Interactive Visualization and Embodiment (ALiVE) of School of Creative Media, City University as Senior Research Associate. He helped to research and develop the latest immersive, multi-projections system for digital art. He is now starting his own hacker-space for artists and creative professionals, to encourage exchange of idea and experience of creating new media projects.
