Videotage is hiring Archive Coordinator (Internship position supported by HKADC) 

With the support of the 2024/25 Arts Talents Internship Matching Programme, Videotage seeks a recent graduate passionate about media art archives to join us as a full-time Archive Coordinator.

The Archive Coordinator will work closely with the Videotage team, artists, and relevant parties to operate and maintain the Videotage Media Art Collection (VMAC). They will gain hands-on experience in cataloguing, accessioning, and digitisation while staying abreast of new archiving methodologies. This position offers an 18-month contract with the possibility of renewal.

Responsibilities:

-Coordinate media art programs of Videotage, focusing on Videotage Media Art Collection (VMAC) operations and logistics
-Provide creative input for VMAC-related programmes
-Develop interpretative content and cultivate discussions to support the educational mission of Videotage and VMAC
-Facilitate the acquisition and organisation of titles in VMAC
-Assist in marketing tasks for the programs
-Handle administration work related to Videotage and VMAC

Requirements: 

-Proficiency in English and Chinese, including writing and speaking
-University graduate in arts, cultural studies, cultural management or related disciplines
-Interested in media arts and/or archives
-Detail-oriented and well-organised
-Self-motivated and proactive
-Good people skills and communication skills
