Mengkerang is a fictitious place created by the artist. A Day Without Sun in Mengkerang (Chapter One) invited participants of different ethnicity to participate in a “game” of exquisite-corpse, describing Mengkerang as they imagined. There are only two rules in the game, that is the story must happen in Mengkerang, and to use at least two of the three characters (characters that reach a high appearance in Malaysian primary school textbooks) provided.

「棉佳蘭」為藝術家虛構的地名。《棉佳蘭一日無光(第一章)》邀請不同族裔的參 與者以接⻯的方式，描繪心⺫中的「棉佳蘭」。接⻯的規則有兩個，其一是故事必須 發生在「棉佳蘭」，其二則必需運用所提供的三個角色名稱(馬來⻄亞國小課本裡出 現機率最高的三個名字)中的其中兩個。
