An Indian band is playing the Beatles’ “She loves you”. On the one hand they imitate every detail of the famous (but here far eastern) four, on the other hand the clip also integrates the typical elements of Indian culture, which lead to a strangely queer liaison. Shot in India, copied to video in Dubai, bought by the author in Morocco and post-produced in Germany, this work provides an entertaining comment on cultural imperialism and the myth of the global village.
