Track reworks still photographs and super-8 footage taken in Hong Kong and whilst camping in Western Australia. The music is the sound group Enargeia (Jeremy Hicks and Malcom Riddoch). The Greek term, enargeia, can be defined as “a part of speech which almost bring something before our eyes” (Cicero). As such it is capable of energising, making manifest, or actualising the phenomenon referred to. Track attempts this feat by bringing together an otherwise disconnected set of imagery to make palpable the relationship between two seemingly quite disparate experience.
