NI Hao倪灝

Ni Hao is an artist currently living and working in Hsinchu City, Taiwan, as well as Brooklyn, New York. Ni’s interdisciplinary art practice often combines sculpture, installation, video and sound performances. Ni draws inspiration from a wide range of subjects as diverse as geopolitics, dromology, international ghost stories and love stories. Ni Hao received his BFA in 2011 from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and received his MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2014. Ni’s work has been exhibited at venues such as the Taipei Fine Arts Museum in Taiwan, Queens Museum in New York, Boston Center for the Arts in Boston, 18th Street Arts Center in Santa Monica, California, Asia Culture Center in Gwangju, South Korea, as well as Gallery Vacancy in Shanghai, China.
藝術家倪灝現居住且工作於台灣新竹與紐約布魯克林。他跨領域的藝術實踐多使用雕塑、裝置、結合錄像與聲音表演;作品靈感則廣泛地由地緣政治、速度學,以及世界各地的鬼故事、愛情故事中獲得。倪灝在美國取得芝加哥藝術學院藝術學士(2011)與羅德島設計學院雕塑類碩士學位(2014),近年作品曾參與展出之機構包括:臺北市立美術館、紐約皇后美術館、波士頓藝術中心、加州聖塔莫尼卡18街藝術中心、韓國光州亞洲文化中心、及上海VACANCY藝廊。
