The broken and fragmented flatscreens that hung on the walls were all gathered locally from different second hand markets via social media. Each screen plays a compilation of videos where go pro or dashboard cameras go through spinning movements during accidents. Some videos were found on YouTube, while others were filmed by myself by making the camera go through the circular motions while recording.

Ni Hao is an artist currently living and working in Hsinchu City, Taiwan, as well as Brooklyn, New York. Ni’s interdisciplinary art practice often combines sculpture, installation, video and sound performances. Ni draws inspiration from a wide range of subjects as diverse as geopolitics, dromology, international ghost stories and love stories. Ni Hao received his BFA in 2011 from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and received his MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2014. Ni’s work has been exhibited at venues such as the Taipei Fine Arts Museum in Taiwan, Queens Museum in New York, Boston Center for the Arts in Boston, 18th Street Arts Center in Santa Monica, California, Asia Culture Center in Gwangju, South Korea, as well as Gallery Vacancy in Shanghai, China.
