絕育(2013)這個錄像紀錄了藝術家用針剔出草莓的種子，透過重覆卻精確的動作，以致水果逐步被絕育。此錄像在嘗試挑戰人們的慣常行為和啟發人類潛藏的惡念。藝術家想用這樣一個引人入勝又令人不安的行為，顛覆觀眾對周遭事物根深蒂固及先入為主的看法。
Sterilization is a durational performative intervention that culminates in a temporary sculpture. It consists of a single precise repetitive action: picking the seeds out of a strawberry with a needle. The process separates fertility from the fruit. This act questions the purposeful activity, suggests latent maliciousness, challenges people’s habitual behavior in the urban society, and references creativity as destruction. The artist would like to use such an intriguingly disturbing act to destabilize the audience’s ingrained perception of the things around us. During the performance, the artist is hidden behind a custom wall, only her arms are visible, watching her hands work through a webcam. By such repetition, nonsense becomes a ritual. Some sort of solemnity is brought to the whole act.
