Therefore I Can See The Wind Blow was a self-examination or a reflection in which I re-observe the things that escaped my awareness during artmaking, such as what makes me press the shutter, what catches my attention and what lies beneath my documentary impulses. This video work was created together with my written manifesto and submitted to Manifestos II: Videography and Documentary Impulses.

Heiwa Wong is from Hong Kong and works as a freelance artist in Hong Kong and Cologne (Germany). Majoring in communication design at the university, she often incorporates her keen interest in images into her creative practices. Her works can be seen as ways of assimilating and giving form to her daily observations. She works with a range of media including photography, moving images, prints and writings. Paving her creative journey, she takes one step after another, small yet steady.
