Experiments On the Notation of Shapes
Experiments on the Notation of Shapes is a generative audio/video installation where several shots of Hong Kong cityscape are used as coordinates for sound synthesis. Through the creation of an algorithm, footage of urban planning and architectural elements are used as a musical score. The city space is presented as a sculptural playground. This translation intends to explore the visual structure of such places.
